Thurston County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon on Littlerock Rd SW near 93rd Ave SW.
Around 12:12 pm, the man was working for a private company, cleaning up an oil spill in a coned-off section near or on the roadway, when a vehicle struck and killed him, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The man was deceased when first responders arrived, according to scanner traffic.
Thurston County Public Works advised that the roadway would be blocked for an extended period of time, and to use alternate routes.
