
A 40-year-old Lacey man was arrested on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence and felony Vehicular Assault after he crashed his motorcycle on SR 507 near Tenino and injured his passenger, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash occurred around 7:30 pm on Friday evening, October 2nd.
Troopers say the motorcycle, occupied by the 40-year old Lacey man and his 32-year-old female passenger, was travelling southbound on SR 507 near MP 13 (just south of Tenino), when it failed to negotiate a curve and came to rest in the grass.
The female passenger was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
The male driver was booked into the Thurston County Jail on charges of Vehicular Assault and DUI. He is currently being held with no bail, as of Monday afternoon.
