Jeffrey C. Winn, 35, of Olympia, was arrested last Friday night and has since been charged in the Thurston County Superior Court with 2nd Degree Child Molestation, according to charging documents from the court.
Winn’s wife allegedly walked in on him molesting his 13-year-old sister-in-law while they were watching a movie. She took her younger sister to their mother’s home, where law enforcement was contacted, charging documents show.
Deputies interviewed all parties involved, including the child, and developed probable cause to make the arrest. When they attempted to contact Winn at his residence, he was heavily intoxicated, blowing a .279 on a preliminary breath test.
Intoxication levels this high require suspects to be medically cleared before they can be booked into jail. He was cleared by staff at Capital Medical Center, and was booked into the Thurston County Jail in the early morning hours of Saturday. He has since been released from custody, as he is no longer shown on the county jail roster.
