One injured in bicycle collision in Tumwater Monday afternoon

One person was transported to the hospital by Olympic Ambulance after being involved in a vehicle vs. bicycle collision in Tumwater on Monday afternoon.

The collision was dispatched just before 2:00 pm in the 5800 block of Capitol Blvd SE, near the Tumwater Inn & Suites.

Medics with Tumwater Fire and Tumwater Police officers responded to the scene. Other information on what led up to the crash, or the extent of the patient’s injuries, was not immediately available.

The southbound lanes of the roadway were blocked for around 20 minutes.
