Olympia PD arrests two suspects in West Olympia armed robbery

The Olympia Police Department arrested two suspects, a 28-year old man and a 20-year old woman, on suspicion of first-degree robbery and felony harassment early Wednesday morning, arrest records show.

The two suspects are accused of robbing an acquaintance at gunpoint at Sunrise Park in West Olympia. Officers responded to that report on Tuesday afternoon. The suspects got $40 out of the victim’s wallet, according to scanner traffic.

The victim was able to give officers the names of the suspects, the description and license plate of the car they were driving, and the name of the hotel where they usually hang out. Officers found that car at the hotel late Tuesday night.

The suspects were taken into custody at the La Quinta Inn on Park Center Ave in Lacey. Lacey Police officers assisted Olympia with the contact. The two suspects have been booked into Thurston County Jail on charges of 1st Degree Armed Robbery and Felony Harassment. The male suspect also has a warrant for forgery.
