Thurston County Sheriff’s Office deputies made a 3rd arrest in a shooting case from earlier this month, this time for attempted murder.
On the evening of November 8th, we reported on our Facebook page that Thurston County deputies were investigating a shooting at a residence in a mobile home park in the 7100 blk of Englewood Dr SE.
Deputies had originally responded to the location in an attempt to locate a male wanted in connection with a disturbance in Lacey. When they arrived, they found the man they were looking for had just been shot, according to a press release by Acting Lieutenant Cameron Simper of the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies rendered aid until the injured man could be transported to St. Peter’s Hospital by medics, where he was eventually transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Two men were arrested on November 12th for 1st Degree Assault in connection with this incident, and they have since been released from jail, according to County Jail records. As a result of the investigation, deputies developed probable cause to arrest a third subject on the charge of attempted murder.
Thomas M. Brown, 19, of Tumwater, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 25th for Attempted Murder 2nd Degree, jail records show. He was booked into the Thurston County Jail.
