Olympia PD arrests two suspects in West Olympia armed robbery

The Olympia Police Department arrested two suspects, a 28-year old man and a 20-year old woman, on suspicion of first-degree robbery and felony harassment early Wednesday morning, arrest records show. The two suspects are accused of robbing an acquaintance at gunpoint at Sunrise Park in West Olympia. Capitol Blvd closed near Cleveland due to gas leak

Tumwater Police and Fire units have closed Capitol Blvd to all traffic as of 6:30 pm on Tuesday night due to a natural gas leak in the area. Capitol Blvd is closed from Cleveland Ave to Carlyon Ave. The gas leak appeared to be caused by construction in the area, which involved an excavator.
